I love Arabians and thoroughbred horses. I like most dog breeds. I enjoy Horse racing(I don't much care for Quarter Horse racing, the races are to short you don't have much time to watch the horses run)

Hedge hogs are definately the coolest. The number one reason I say that is because you don't have to worry about your friends handling them and hurting them because(unless they know how to handle them) your friends keep their distance. Another reason I like them is their cute face. Who couldn't love their face.
My hedge hog knows not to hiss or curl up when he hears my vioce, he just remains calm so I can pick him up, or pet him. He doesn' tlike strangers. He throws a fit when somebody doesn't handle him right. My hegge hog came from a college dorm. My brother got him from somebody who didn't want him. His name is Jager(yes, after the beverage. remember, he came from a college. i didn't name him that.)I built Jager a cage outside, but it has been too cold out to let him out, I don't want him to hybernate.

Hello, my name is Arin Gillmore, and I am going to tell you
a little about my pets, and on my beliefs in owning pets.
I live in Eau Claire, WI. My family and I live out in
country, about 7 miles from town. We DO NOT live on a farm,
but many people think we should (Because of the pets)
I have two dogs. The oldest one(4 years old) is a
Newfoundland. His name is Herliquan's High Society Slueth,
but to the family, he's just Nick. The other dog (who is
one year old) is named Norman, but we just call him Norm.
I got him from the Humane Association, here in EC. I think
they abused him some how, because he has nightmares every
single night, and that really makes me mad.
I have a grey mini-lop earred rabbit (who is almost 9 years

I love PetStation! Ii think it's great. I am really glad
you have an article just about teens and pets. I think pets
are what helps me get on with my life after my parents got
their divorce, and my mother got re-married, I thought I
was going to die!
I do have one complaint, though. I looked at your signs
that you sell, and I couldn't find any on horses! I have a
lot of friends that like those kinds of signs, so I was
going to purchase horse signs for them, but I couldn't find
them anywhere.

I have one full grown rat named Orea and I have a two month old golden hamster named Pookah. I like almost all animals, especially houselhold. PetStation is pretty cool. I have one question though. I put my hamster and rat together for about a week. Thought they would be friends. I know the way a hamster acts when one becomes pregnant and i think my male rat may have gotten my hamster pregnant. Hi. I have two cats and I used to have two hamsters. I'm really writing to you because I have a sort of serious pet emergency. The hamsters I had, I gave to my cousin who lives near me because I couldn't take care of them with all the other responsibilities I had. My cousin already had a hamster so I figured that he would be able to take care of them. I check on them every time I go to his house. I did so today and my boy hamster's eye was messed up. It was like something had been poked into his eye and it had closed up. The area is really pink and the fur is matted. I'm really concerned about this because his eye could probably get infected. I told my mom and she's more concerned about the money she'll have to spend at the vet than taking him to the vet. I don't have a job because I just turned 14 and I have too much to do as far as school is concerned to get a job right now, so I can't pay for the fee. It seems like I'm the only one here who is actually concerned about the hamster. It might be small, but it's still alive so I think I have a right to be concerned. If it was my brother, she'd want me to be concerned. I really need some advice about this as soon as possible. Do you know if there is anything I could do to help him? PLEASE let me know if you know anything. It would truly be appreciated.

I don't really have any pets now,because I don't think my mom likes pets that much. I used to have a pet dog that I named Brownie. He was German Sheaphard mixed with a Chow.

(not to mention all the crickets that go with the snakes)
1 dwarf hamster and 1 water snail, I also used to have 1 dozen other bullfrog tadpoles but they died of "Sic" A bacteria that eats them up. And I used to have 2 other frog tadpoles that died and I had 15 rabbits that I have sold.

I have a big problem...my family has just relocated to the albany area to live in an apartment and we are not allowed to have pets. I have an 8 year old jack russell dog (like the one on Frasier) and I need someone to take him. All of my friends have gone to college or already have a dog so I was wondering if anyone is interested. I have 2 cats and 2 parakeets. My favourite pets? Any pets! I find cats are more sweet if they are rescued or adopted, but I love the friendliness of dogs, they're always there, but, I also love the majestic grace and power of horses. And, last(but not least) birds, I love thier beauty as they soar!(I'm getting a breeding pair of Eclectus parrots soon! They're beautiful!)
I think PetStation is great! I wish more people cred abiut animals the way these people here do. I recently lost one of my cats(the 3rd one, now I only have 2) to a case of ignorance and insensitivity. While on holiday, last week, my black shorthair(kitten) was stoned to death by some neighborhood kids, one of them threw a stone and hit him on the bridge of the nose right between the eyes. We're sitll away, I found out when I called my grandma back home. Please, be more aware of animal rights, make sure things like this don't happen again.

I have ambitions to become a vet when I get older and even though vets have to do some horroble things I still want to be one. The other 2 animals are both cats 1 a Somali and the other a Tabby.

I have 2 Cocker Spanials and 2 rats. (I used to have 3, but Adara died last week.)
We have just moved here from Sydney, and we used to live in a small house with not much garden, so we couldn't have big dogs. When I'm older I would love a Boxer. I love them, they are so beautiful. But, at the moment, I couldn't think of better companions than my 4 babies, I love them all, so much...... they have been there for me, during some pretty tough times.
Anyway, Petstation is great, I only descovered it this afternoon, but I've been here for an hour, and I love it!!!!!1

I have a 6 years old boxer named Barnie. She was only supposed to live untill two, but she is 6, so we must be doing a good job! Barnie is black and white with a bit of brindle. She has a white chest, paws, neck, belly, and a white stripe going up between her eyes. She wears a red collar. She likes playing, tug a war, playing with her food, and much much more. She also likes my rabbit. I slso have a rabbit, Timbit. Short for Thumbilina. SHe is 2, turning 3 in Eatser/98. I got Timbit for Easter a couple of years ago. She has her own outdoor pen outside, but spends rainy days,a nd nights indoors. I also have 3 goldfish, Winkin, Blinkin, and Nod. I opnce had a goldfish that lived for 8 months!!! I also have a bunck of sea monkies.

Iggy is a birthday present I got in August of this year. It is a green iguana and I have always wanted one. This one has a great personality and is easy to handle. I read the books on iguana's but still don't feel comfortable trimming the toe nails. I don't want to hurt him. Last month he wiggled out of my grip and when I tried to catch him ... his tail came off. I feel really bad about it. Mom helped me get medicine and we took real good care and I can see another tail is growing back. Still I worry about it being hurt.
Does anyone have an older iguana that can share tips with me. I don't want any surprises. I just want it to be healthy.

ok, i have a cat (i'm not sure what breed) and a German Shepard. They are sorta half my pets and half my parents. I really want another cat (I think my cat gets annoyed with my constant attention) and a small dog (i'm not sure what breed, because i'm still researching them), but my parents say no because they will make the animals we already have tense and I won't have them for long, because I will have to leave them at home when I go to college.

I have a Burmeese cross cat called Cinnamon and she is the best cat in the world. She is really affectionate and she loves me.
I also have two fish called Snippy and Speedy, a Budgie called Jacko, and two guinea pigs called Parsley and Checkers.
I would love to have some mice a dog, and a lizard. We may be getting a puppy soon, but Mum hates mice for some weird grown-up reason, and lizards are out of the question.
I also love horses, and before we moved, we were about to get a pony. I love all animals with the exception of insects and spiders(Butterflies excepted), and when I leave school, I hope to become a marine biologist or a Vet.
